POOLSIDE
We designed, supplied, and installed a brand new diving tower out of stainless steel and HDPE decking. The framework was home to 3 of springboards and a 5m platform. It was polymer powder coated to ensure longevity. We also provided a stand alone 3m.
We provided and installed Treadmaster AFDB matting surfaces to create a secure, non-slip environment.
WHY
The Sobell Leisure Centre in Wales exemplifies DiveGym's steadfast dedication to enhancing aquatic excellence. Despite working within space constraints and the need to seamlessly integrate with existing structures, DiveGym embarked on a transformative journey, showcasing our keen commitment to elevating the aquatic experience.
WHAT
DiveGym's partnership with the Sobell Leisure Centre ushered in innovative solutions within the restricted pool layout. Leveraging existing substructures and our extensive experience, we meticulously designed and engineered a substantial tower. This tower seamlessly incorporated two 1-meter springboards, one 3-meter springboard, and a 5-meter platform. Additionally, we engineered a separate 3-meter platform for the far corner of the pool, complemented by the addition of five poolside somersault stations.
HOW
Our team applied its expertise to deliver a functional and secure solution while working within the confines of the compact pool space. This not only laid the foundation for a thriving sports club but also reflected DiveGym's pride in collaborating with the local council and coaches to create this innovative aquatic space.
