We designed, supplied, and installed handrails and stairs to enhance accessibility and safety.
We provided and installed roughtex matting surfaces to create a secure and non-slip environment.
We supplied and installed five Duraflex shortstands and springboards, meeting the highest standards in aquatics.
WHY
Working in close collaboration with the local council, the revival of the Manchester Aquatic Centre exemplifies DiveGym's commitment to preserving and elevating aquatic legacies. Following the historical and cultural significance of this iconic venue, DiveGym was employed to restore the diving pool to its former glory. Our shared goal was to breathe new life into the facility, ensuring it continued to be a hub of aquatic excellence for generations to come.
WHAT
DiveGym's refurbishment efforts were multi-faceted and forward-thinking. The introduction of new 1-meter diving boards, equipped with modern hydraulic lifters tailored for the new Duraflex shortstands, was a focal point of our project. Beyond this, we recognized the importance of safety and functionality. To that end, we implemented a complete replacement of all plinth and step anti-slip matting, guaranteeing not only visual excellence but also an environment optimized for performance and safety.
HOW
DiveGym harnessed its extensive knowledge and consultancy expertise to tailor solutions that precisely met the Manchester Aquatic Centre's unique needs. The introduction of modern diving boards, hydraulic lifters, and anti-slip matting replacement showcased our ability to seamlessly merge innovation with functionality. Our close collaboration with the existing infrastructure resulted in a cohesive, aesthetically pleasing finish.
FUTURE
DiveGym is collaborating with the Manchester Aquatic Centre to devise solutions that drive increased participation in both wet and dry areas. This partnership aims to facilitate the expansion of their sports club, promoting aquatic excellence in the community.
