WHY
At DiveGym, we were honoured to be involved in the prestigious Paris Olympic Games project. Working on a global stage, our role was vital in ensuring the facilities met the elite standards required for Olympic competition. It was essential that the entire setup conformed to World Aquatics international regulations, and we were proud to help make that happen.
WHAT
Our team delivered a state-of-the-art aquatic facility, fully aligned with the strict specifications set out by World Aquatics. This included not only the installation of critical diving infrastructure but also providing expertise to ensure compliance and performance readiness at the highest level. The dryland facility was fully equipped to support elite Olympic training, featuring 2 trampolines, a sprung floor, wall bar with pads and chin-up bars, 5 dryboards, 4 overhead harness systems, somersault stations, and a foam pit. We also installed custom matting throughout for safety and visual continuity. A key highlight is the large hydraulic platform over the foam pit, adjustable from 1m to 3m, allowing divers to safely train at varying heights.
HOW
DiveGym led the full dryland fit-out, creating a fully functional and cohesive training space. Our involvement spanned the entire process, from design and installation through to testing and commissioning. The result was a high-performance training centre that met and exceeded the rigorous standards of Olympic preparation.
Throughout the Olympic Games, we were invited by the organising committee to remain on-site, providing technical support and comprehensive spare parts. Our responsive service ensured the diving and training facilities operated smoothly throughout the event and earned us glowing feedback from the organisers.
FUTURE
Our ongoing relationship with international sporting bodies ensures DiveGym remains a trusted partner in the development and upkeep of elite-level training centres. The legacy of Paris 2024 lives on through the facilities we helped bring to life.
